BC Wildlife Park, Kamloops
The BC Wildlife Park in Kamloops came to life in 1965 and continues to evolve as a Wildlife Park that showcases the Wildlife of British Columbia and is one of the few Wildlife Rehabilitation Centres in British Columbia. The BC Wildlife Park has 209 animals, including the only Kermode Bear in human care in the world. The BC Wildlife Park's animals have found their way to us because they were either orphaned, born in another CAZA accredited facility or were brought to our Fawcett Family Wildlife Health Centre and their injuries have prevented them from being released back into the wild.
The BC Wildlife Park offers many engaging activities that we encourage everyone to enjoy, including feed talks, Bird of Prey shows, a splash park and playground, and the Wildlife Express train.
Each visitor to the Park helps our non profit society support the rescue and rehabilitation of British Columbia's animals.
