Stanley Glacier Moderate Hike

Every day we offer a group hike led by a professional guide. We'll provide transportation, a professional driver and interpretive guide with commentary and local stories as they whisk you away to your hiking adventure. We'll bring everything you need, including lunch.

Known as Fire and Ice this hike takes switchbacks through remnants of a prescribed fire overgrown by fresh new wildflowers. You'll cross a bubbling glacial stream as you walk beneath Storm Mountain, Mt Whymper, Boom Mountain and arrive at the toe of Stanley Glacier.

Hiking time: Approximately 3-4 hours. Elevation: 365 m.(1,148 ft) 9.6 KM (6 mile return).
